  I recently bought myself a new mattress from Metro Mattress on Elmira Road, Ithaca, NY. I needed it. But, it's been so long since I last purchased one, that I was shocked by the cost of one these days. Wow! I didn't get THE most expensive one, more likely, the very cheapest, but it was still quite a big purchase for me. I'm not complaining now, because it was well worth it. I'm pleased with my new mattress AND adjustable base. The staff (Emma, Lyndsay, Patrick and Christopher, who I met another day) couldn't have been more knowledgeable and more personable. My selection was made easier because of their patience, guidance and understanding, even after having changed my mind a couple times. If you need a mattress, I'd highly recommend visiting their store.
